JIANZI. Culture, identity and dialogue

The training course aims to help members of local organizations, youth
leaders, youth workers, to develop their cultural awareness, giving them tools and new
approaches to address the multicultural and ethnically diverse groups with which they are in contact.
We live in a society where migration and the resulting encounter and clash between different cultures have become extremely relevant and a priority for any sector. Our society is a multicultural society and in fact, this inevitably invites us to ask ourselves big questions: Can a plural society generate a collective identity? Can Europe generate a collective identity? How can we educate to promote, based on diversity, cohesive societies with a sense of community, with mechanisms of cooperation and integration?
The Erasmus+ programme is an effective example of promoting inclusion and intercultural education. We strongly believe that its values and methods should be
extended to training and social-educational animation also outside the programme. The promotion of intercultural education and training becomes essential at all levels and in all sectors.
