Our institution houses boys between the ages of 12-18 who have been dragged into crime. We can list the crime groups as follows; terrorism, injury, theft, murder and sexual. In addition to specialized staff, there are also “youth leaders” in our institution. These people spend one-to-one time with the children during the day and are in communication with the children.
However, these staff members are not selected according to a specific criteria. My aim is to turn individuals who are so intertwined with children into qualified individuals.
For this reason, we need to train the staff. These trainings are as follows; anger management, crisis management, mentoring training, psychological resilience strengthening training.
At the end of the training, these personnel are expected to establish a healthier communication with children dragged into crime and contribute to the healing process of children.
