"Itinera" aims at providing school and professional guidance to pupils aged 15-18 through an exchange of good practices and activities (more details below)
In the last few years, COSP has been implementing an innovative programme "Itinera" and one of its most prominent activities has been related to the so-called "Master di Orientamento", 15-hour courses concerning a whole range of proposals on what to do after the secondary school, whether proceeding further at the university, entering the labour market or which professional profiles are most required in the present labour market - a choice that it is likely to have significant consequences all along the lifetime of an individual. In doing so, COSP has worked together with over 30 organisations and companies which have actively participated in the development of dedicated sessions of professional guidance and presentation of a variety of fields of interest for all those pupils aged 15-18 that are called upon to make a relevant decision about their future: for instance, from the field of tourism to economy and finance, from the range of security forces to journalism and multimedia, among others, with useful tips on how to apply either for a job offer or to an university degree both in Italy or abroad. Since its very first implementation, more than 9.000 students and 50 secondary schools have been involved, thanks to the strong cooperation with more than 150 representatives coming from the local network of partner organisations who have carried out the aforementioned courses.
At the same time, COSP - together with another organization operating in this field, EduLife - developed an online platform called "Plan Your Future" that collects interviews, materials and a response to any doubts concerning school and professional guidance (video interviews, study sheets, infographics).
