Introducing Youth to the Digital World

Introducing young people and workers to the digital tools that will help them design, promote and disseminate their projects by involving digital learning.

The aim of the training is to introduce young people and especially youth leaders and those who generally work with the youth, to the digital tools that will help them design, promote and disseminate their projects by involving digital learning. The goal is to share all the tools that will make them more easily and effectively communicate and create with each other and also provide them with the competence of teaching these skills to others.
This course, though, won't be a typical course that will keep us inside a computers' classroom. Using methods of non-formal education and focusing on group work, we will provide the space and time to give examples on how to use all the new skills introduced. For us it's very important to share all knowledge in a way that will actually help all participants to improve the projects that they organise or participate in and most importantly to show them how to involve the young members of their organisations in the project's preparation process. So the course will include both inside and outside workshops and examples of implementation and best practices.
This course finally aims to contribute to the personal and socio-educational development of the participants and foster their active participation in society, thereby improving their employment prospects. The course is also expected to have a great impact on the organisations involved since it is expected to have a positive impact on the participants' creative thinking and effective design of youth activities and projects.
