Intrapreunership through Corporate Policies: Supporting youth people in fostering social inclusion in SMEs

Support youth workers to understand the role of corporate policies for fostering inclusion in the work-place

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN APPLICANT ORGANISATION

The course will take place in November/December 2021.

Intrapreneurship involves workers formulating and implementing new ideas within organizations rather than starting their own businesses (World Economic Forum, 2016). The project involves supporting youth workers to understand the role of corporate policies for fostering inclusion in the work-place, with a particular focus on small and medium enterprise. The project involves a group of 30 youth workers aged 18 – 29 to attend a training course of 1 weeks about:

What does social inclusion mean?
Corporate social responsibility
Corporate policies: what they are and how they are created
Policy-making process workshop
Building skills for advocacy in young people

As part of the project, the group will create a handbook for teaching young people what are corporate policies and how they can be trigger for social inclusion in the labour market.

We are currently building the partnership. We are looking for organisations that work with young people and provide job guidance and support, especially in the entrepreneurship sector.
