Integration x 2

Exchange of good practice: integration of young migrants and prevention of racism in youth work. Toolbox of methods that address both topics at a time.

Associations active in the field of youth work/non formal learning from countries along the migration routes from the Near East towards Europe exchange their strategies and methods handling integration topics. We aim to work on a double integration need: young migrants should be welcomed and helped with their start in the new country. Young locals from disadvantaged social backgrounds, who are at risk of tending towards racist ideologies, should be preserved from prejudices and anxiety. The project will help to cope with this double integration need that is faced within youth work throughout Europe. It does so by recflecting the methods developped by the partner organisations, testing them in different partner countries, and publish them in an online best practice compilation and toolbox.
