The overall objective is to support economic and social development of participating countries by facilitating innovative entrepreneurial initiatives

The overall objective of Young Innovative Entrepreneurs project is to support economic and social development of participating countries by facilitating innovative entrepreneurial initiatives by young people in order to contribute to the development of the employment , entrepreneurship and sustainable development.
The specific objective of the project is to create a region wide support system that will enhance the development and implementation of innovative business ideas across the borders by young entrepreneurs in the countries.

The support system will be formed by several key components:
• Business Network
Establishment of Cross-border (CB) business and innovative project development network will support CB interactions and contact development for the target groups;
• Innovative entrepreneurial environment
Establishment of Innovation Lab network in Albania under the working title INNOALBLab (IAL) will ensure a permanent support for CB innovative business development. IAL will provide the space, supervision and mentoring by experts from the business world and the academia;
• Training and Education
Development of regional innovative entrepreneurial competence will be supported by tailor made trainings delivered jointly by the business and the academia
• Awareness by all regional actors
Dissemination of project results to a wider public in the region will support the development of multilateral involvement of the regional actors and thus securing the support for the project activities and its sustainability

The uniqueness of the project is that it will facilitate the development of strong ties between young active or potential (future) entrepreneurs that eventually will evolve in a mutual business across the borders. InnoALBLab, IAL, will be an innovation in itself – it will be a place that in particular will stimulate young innovative entrepreneurial cross-border initiatives with support from professionals in the field of eco-innovation. It must be noted that now exist such a unique entity for young cross-border business cooperation. The project will make sure that young active and potential entrepreneurs who are willing to cooperate across the borders will have all possible support to innovate together. The project also will make sure that all possible regional actors from the authorities to the academia and business supporters join the forces to support the young entrepreneurial generation.
The project will address the aims set by Erasmus + Programme, among other, the “Economic - social development and Environmental Protection” priority which aims at supporting sustainable business development, cross-border entrepreneurship and creation of new business. The focus of activities will be on young people as envisaged by the programme. In addition the on-going communication and joint educational planning between the business and academia is a core of the project for promoting innovative entrepreneurial competence in the region. Furthermore, throughout the project events, the business and authorities will gain a better understanding of cross-border business and working opportunities and will continue the cooperation for further support development to young innovative initiatives.
The duration of the project is 33 months.


The specific objective of the project is to create a wide support system that will enhance the development and implementation of innovative business ideas across the borders by young entrepreneurs.
The support system is expected to create an arena and the best possible environment for long-term sustainable cooperation in the field of cross-border business cooperation amongst young people (existing entrepreneurs, future entrepreneurs or owners of eco-innovative business ideas) and regional actors (from education, authorities and regional businesses) . The project will therefore build a support system that will consist of several components.

1. Cross-border business and innovative project development network.
2. Establishment of Eco-Innovation Lab network in Albania under the working title Eco-InnoALBLab (EIAL).
3. Development of cross-border innovative entrepreneurial competence.
4. Dissemination of project results.

The developing countries are facing dramatic demographic changes. The migration of the youth from the developing countries to the west for better opportunities is a common problem in all countries. The most significant reasons for youth migration are work and career possibilities. It is necessary for this countries to improve its attractiveness for the young and for that there should be implemented new strategies aiming at the younger generation. The project aims to partly solve the youth problem by encouraging young people to discover wide business opportunities and to inspire the young for the entrepreneurship across the border. Ones inspired, young people tend to come up with great innovative business ideas. In order to make their ideas work there is a need to provide support for the actual entrepreneurship and innovative idea development in practice, therefore a support system should be developed. Increased innovative entrepreneurial activities will also have a great impact in all countries ‘s socio-economic development. Youth are the future and the foundation that the project will lay for the innovative entrepreneurial activity amongst young people will have a long term impact on the region.

Beneficiaries of this Young Innovative Eco- Entrepreneurs-project will be those target groups who will be positively affected by project activities and outcomes. List of beneficiaries is divided into two categories: target groups and final beneficiaries. Project target groups are project partners and participants who will be involved in the actual implementation of the project and to which information, methods or solutions produced by the end of the project are designed to affect. The target group of Young Innovative Eco-Entrepreneurs-project consists of active and potential (future) young and innovative entrepreneurs, existing business incubators and innovation support institutions region and field experts. Active young entrepreneurs are looking for assistance in developing innovative business ideas since there is a lack of in-house expertise, limited economical resources and high competitiveness in market. Potential young innovative entrepreneurs are students of the last year, recent graduates and unemployed that are looking for job opportunities, self-realization and career development. Business incubators, innovation support institutions and field experts in Barents region are interested in developing new business ideas, seeking for new projects, building an international network and positive reputation inside and outside of Barents region and gaining governmental financial support.
