The project aims to increase political and social awareness among participants and encourage them to participate in democracy.
The project will take place in Wrocław, one of the largest cities in Poland, located on the Odra River. This project will aim to increase socio-political awareness among participants and encourage them to take part in democracy. We chose this topic because we see that young people are less and less interested in these issues. During the exchange, we will participate in a number of meetings, workshops, discussions on various topics, such as migration, judicial processes, political orientations, political systems, cybersecurity, debates between local politicians regarding cooperation, and most importantly - we will simulate the parliament and the president, by organizing three choices during the exchange. We are looking for groups of 10 participants aged 14-17 and 2 leaders. We are looking for groups willing to participate in these activities. We require each group to: prepare a cultural evening from their country, create a short presentation presenting the rules and/or method of counting votes in their country, and prepare/invent a game during integration. We also expect a willingness to participate in online meetings both before the project to get to know each other, and after the project, when three monthly meetings will be held to discuss the progress in disseminating results and the impact of the exchange after its completion. We are looking for groups that will be able to prepare their assigned block of classes from those listed below: migration, judicial processes, political orientations, political systems, cybersecurity.
