This project focuses on strengthening the professional capacities of youth workers to work with young people coming from socially disadvantaged groups
Across Europe, youth workers increasingly encounter young people who face multiple and overlapping challenges such as social exclusion, limited access to education and services, discrimination, cultural barriers and emotional vulnerability. These realities require youth workers not only to be motivated, but also to be well-equipped with inclusive approaches, ethical awareness and practical tools.
Through international learning mobility activities, the project will offer youth workers a structured learning process based on non-formal and informal education. Participants will develop competences in intercultural communication, trauma-sensitive youth work, prevention of discrimination and creation of safe and empowering spaces for young people. The project will place strong emphasis on understanding the specific needs of migrant youth, while also addressing the broader realities of social disadvantage and vulnerability in youth work practice.
By strengthening the skills, confidence and professional identity of youth workers, the project aims to improve the quality of youth work within participating organisations and communities. In the long term, it seeks to contribute to the social inclusion, well-being and active participation of migrant and disadvantaged young people, supporting more cohesive, fair and resilient societies across Europe
The project will take place in Paris, France.
