Inclusive Education Training Programme - IETP (KA220-YOU Project)
Project Scope and Objectives
This project, coordinated by Africa Foundation, is designed to support the integration of migrant children into educational processes and promote inclusive education approaches. The project aims to equip teacher candidates and educators with methodological and practical skills in inclusive education.
The main objectives of the project are:
To facilitate the integration of migrant children into the education system,
To enhance teacher candidates' competencies in inclusive education,
To develop modular and guide materials for educators and teachers,
To support inclusive education through digital and interactive learning materials,
To raise awareness through social media campaigns and dissemination strategies.
Implementation Process and Activities
The project will be implemented over 24 months in collaboration with partners from Turkey, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Middle East. The key planned activities include:
Conducting a comprehensive needs analysis,
Developing inclusive education modules for teacher candidates and educators,
Creating materials based on pilot training sessions and feedback from teachers,
Establishing a digital education platform and carrying out dissemination activities,
Organizing seminars, workshops, and awareness campaigns.
Work Packages (WPs)
WP1: Project Management (Budget: €47,500)
Project coordination and monitoring activities,
Communication among partners and reporting mechanisms.
WP2: Development of Training Modules and Pilot Applications (Budget: €147,500)
Designing and testing inclusive education modules,
Creating digital education materials.
WP3: Dissemination and Sustainability (Budget: €55,000)
Developing a digital platform, social media campaigns, and publications,
Organizing awareness-raising activities on inclusive education.
Expected Outputs and Impact
Reducing barriers that migrant children face in education,
Increasing teacher candidates' skills in inclusive education,
Ensuring long-term change in the education system through the widespread use of educational materials,
Promoting equal educational opportunities for migrant children through digital education platforms,
Expanding inclusive education practices and influencing policy-making processes in the long term.
This project, funded under the Erasmus+ KA220-YOU program, is an innovative initiative that supports the integration of migrant children into the education system, enhances teachers' inclusive education skills, and strengthens social cohesion.
