Inclusive Conflict Mediation and AI Skills for Youth

The project empowers youth to constructively resolve conflicts using AI tools. It promotes digital literacy, intercultural understanding and active citizenship.

Target group: Young people aged 13-30, with a special focus on:
- Young people from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds.
- Young people from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
- Young people interested in active citizenship and the use of digital technologies.

Main goals:
1. Developing conflict resolution skills and active citizenship: Equipping young people with skills for effective conflict resolution in a multicultural environment and for active participation in democratic life.
2. Developing specific digital skills in AI and mediation: Teaching young people to work with Konfliktoring technology and generative AI tools for simulating and analyzing conflict situations.
3. Promoting inclusion and social cohesion: Creating a space for young people from diverse backgrounds to meet and collaborate, fostering mutual understanding and tolerance.

Activities:
- Developing educational materials and methodologies: Creating comprehensive and culturally adapted educational materials focused on conflict mediation, intercultural communication, and AI tools. Methodologies for facilitators will also be developed.
- Training of trainers and youth workers: Providing training for trainers on conflict mediation, intercultural communication, AI principles, and the use of Konfliktoring technology and AI tools.
- Recruitment of participants from target groups: Ensuring the effective recruitment of approximately 60 young people, emphasizing diversity and inclusion.
- Implementation of interactive workshops for youth: Providing practical education on conflict mediation, intercultural communication, and AI technologies through interactive workshops.
- Practical mediations in schools and communities: Enabling young people to apply their newly acquired mediation and digital skills in real-life situations.

Role of "Konfliktoring" technology and AI tools:
- Simulating and analyzing conflict situations in a safe environment.
- Personalizing simulation scenarios and developing tailor-made mediation skills for participants.
- Supporting an interactive and engaging learning experience.

Expected outcomes:
- Enhancing mediation and digital skills among young people.
- Developing innovative mediation strategies using AI.
- Improving the social climate in schools and communities.
- Promoting inclusion, social cohesion, and intercultural dialogue.
- Creating high-quality, culturally adapted educational materials and methodologies.
- Disseminating best practices and inspiring other organizations.
- Strengthening the capacities of participating organizations and building international networks.
- Generating a lasting impact on the involved organizations even after the project's completion.

The project will also serve as a foundation for further initiatives and projects focused on conflict mediation and digital education.
