"In the vortex of feelings"

"In the vortex of feelings" is an international youth exchange project, which will be held from 01. 08.16. to 07 .08.16 in one of the most beautiful, greenest Latvian cities, Rēzekne. Project will gather together 36 young people from different European countries.
Within the framework of his project, in an exciting and interesting way developing and exploring our sensory potential ability, we want to encourage other young people to work together. Thus, letting them to explore themselves and allow young people to get to know how different we are and how differently we can use a variety of senses in our daily lives. The project will be based on the non-formal education methods like group-building activities, simulation activities, brainstorming, relaxation activities, and many other related activities.
In this project young people will be able to:
• Get acquainted with young people from other European countries and learn about their cultures;
• Work in workshops;
• Go to adventurous hiking;
• Share experiences of how young people perceive the world and how they use sensory systems during a day;
• Learn how to use the senses in extreme conditions;
• Explore themselves;
• Strengthen the relationship with nature;
• Learn to navigate themselves through the senses;
• To get acquainted with the city of Rezekne;

Finally, young people will speak about the daily life of European youth, the rhythm of life, the possibilities to develop and use the senses in different problem-solving situations, how the development of senses have improved our mutual communication and environmental perception. They will share impressions related to their observations gained during the exchange project as well will offer their proposals aiming to make our future better.
