In the End, We Are All Humans

* breaking the stereotypes * discrimination * promoting equality * social cohesion * democracy

As soon as we begin to learn, we are taught to classify, to sort objects and place them in groups. This is fine for objects, but not for people. Not just stereotyping but gender inequality is deeply entrenched in every society. Women remain the vulnerable group in many places and account for 70% of the world's population living in poverty. More girls drop out of school than boys. Women often lack the ability to take their destiny into their own hands and have to endure many hardships in life. Women, more than anyone else, aspire for equality and respect. The discrimination is appearing in lots of shapes. Discrimination by the skin colour, sexual orientation, gender, economic status in the society, ethnic groups, religion, nationality etc.
Facing these situations every day has inspired us to create this project to challenge and eliminate this stereotyping, discrimination and inequality of young people. Our aim is supporting the internationalisation, social cohesion, equity, democracy and diversity between the participants coming from 7 different countries around Europa. Within this, we would have a chance to promote the European Values among the participants and at the same time to give a chance to the local community to understand and learn more about the EU dimension. With including partners from different partner countries, we also aim to promote non-formal learning and cooperation in the field of youth with the Partner Countries.
