Improve the quality of adult skills in order to enhance employability

The project aims to improve, update and adapt skills and competencies of unemployed adults, in order to give them the possibility to be integrated or reintegrated in the labour market. It also aims to reinforce their employability, identifying appropriated key competencies corresponding to the national context. These competencies will be improved through focused educational interventions which will affect both basic and soft skills.
The main purpose is to provide knowledge and skills not only to improve technique skills, but also “soft skills” (to increase relational, motivational and emotional competences); in addition it aims to increase self-esteem and enterprising spirit and it provides a series of structured instruction about how to face the labour market.
As well as offering educational activities, this project aims at the realization of a transnational platform where it’s possible to find labour supply and demand, sharing tools, documents, teaching and e-learning materials.
The Project is divided into different phases: the first phase is the recognition of the skills that require an appropriate improvement according to the labour market; the second will focus on the development of an eLearning platform to allows the realization of training courses designed to strengthen individual skills; thirdly, the realization of a knowledge sharing platform to allow people present themselves and communicate each other; the implementation of a training program designed for the staff, in order to create a methodological and educational common grounds and to promote the dissemination of the European formation at local level; at last, an exchange program that allows staff to visit training organizations of partner countries in order to share good practices.
