IMMIGRATION IS A VALUE

The ECOSERVICE Social Cooperative intends to submit a project (Erasmus+ KA2 - Strategic Partnerships) focused on IMMIGRATION issue, by using the multifunctionality of agriculture and craftsmanship (which are important sectors of the rural economy of Sardinia) as tools to promote labor and social inclusion actions.
Social farming, as well as local craftsmanship, can be considered as practical and flexible tools that are able to reinforce the existing social capital through the development of innovative and inclusive paths.
The methodology that ECOSERVICE is going to adopt and share intends to consolidate local competences and knowledges by renovating them through multiculturalism and extra local knowledges/skills.
The ECOSERVICE, at a local level, is also the promoter and the leader of a network of private and public entities (municipalities, universities, schools) whose aim is to work together on the IMMIGRATION issue by offering their qualified support and logistics services.
The Ecoservice Social Cooperative through this project aims to build a long-term partnership with whom to develop new collaborative synergies, ideas and plans aimed at the SOCIAL AND LABOUR INCLUSION OF IMMIGRANTS and REFUGEES.

Participants profile:
In order to be partner of this project, the applicant organizations must necessarily have experience in one the following areas:
- promotion and/or management of actions aimed at the social and labor inclusion of immigrants/refugees by using multicultural approaches;
- promotion/management of projects/actions in the field of SOCIAL AGRICULTURE and LOCAL CRAFTSMANSHIP as tools of labor reinsertion of vulnerable people (especially immigrants and refugees);
- promotion/management of skills recognition processes and work placements of vulnerable people (especially immigrants and refugees).
