How Did I Volunteer?

Project Topic : Improve Volunteer Management, Providing Active Participation and İncrease Volunteers.

Project Formation: Erasmus +, K205 Strategic Partnership Project based on Development of Innovation in Youth

Project Preparation: April 4, 2018 - April 25, 2018

Project Implementation: September 1, 2018- August 31, 2020

Project Stakeholders: - Turkish Red Crescent Aydin City Branch (Coordinator), - Aydin Provincial Directorate of Disaster and Emergency, - ?, -?, -?

We are looking for working with voluntary organizations or associations (NGOs or local-national public body which is work with volunteers).

Our main aim is increase volunteers and providing active participation. At the same time, we want to improve our volunteer management.

We will create a structure with five partners, two of them local and three of them foreign.

We will design 2 Transnational Project Meeting in Aydin, Turkey as a kick-off meeting and closing meeting. And also we will desing 3 Learning, Teaching, Training Activities in our partner' s countries. Project mobilities will include exchange of experience and good practice exchange at the local and international level in Voluntary System.

We try to design 4 Intellectual Outputs.

1- survey study about non-volunteers and report.

2- qualitative research via brain storming studies with volunteers and report.

3- guideline about volunteer management (using our research reports and literature review)

4- distance education module (this section include IO-1, IO-2 and IO-3 and provide access via internet for end users)
