Youth exchange project about intercultural communication, fostering inclusion and diversity through music and arts

Intercultural communication, familiarity with other people having different traditions or understanding of world is beneficial in terms of creating a more friendly climate and reducing existing tensions between different peoples who are confronted with different religions. It also helps to destroy existing stereotypes.

AIM:
To develop intercultural dialogue through music and art as communication tools for 30 young people and at the same time increase the social inclusion of 12 participants with fewer opportunities (geographical obstacles and cultural differences) in Kaunas, Lithuania.

Objectives:
1. Develop a positive approach to other people of different religious, ethic or nationality without a fear of communicating or co-operating for 30 participants until the end of the project.
2. Deny stereotypes, myths about people of different religious, ethic or nationality for 30 participants until the end of the project.
3. Discover music and art as means of intercultural communication for 30 young participants and at the same time increase social inclusion of 12 participants with fewer opportunities until the end of the project.
4. Promote the Erasmus + program and its objectives for 30 young participants and their local communities until the end of the mobility.
