Handbook of Combatting Hate's Journey

Call for contribution in the form of: • Theoretical perspectives of the phenomenon, • Collaborative research, • Methodological contribution.

The Handbook will consist in not only theoretical information but also methodological information for youth workers to implement activities addressing young people with fewer opportunities and at risk of radicalization.
The book will consist of information about young people and youth policies and the barriers on empowerment and how these barriers and exclusion facilitate the growth of hate narratives and radicalization and the needs and interests of young people throughout quantitative research and qualitative research done with young people.

4 topics contributors should address:
1. Situation of Youth in Participating Countries (Desk Research)
2. What do young people need? (Qualitative and Quantitative Research with 50 young people in each participating country)
3. Developing an Empowerment Concept to Combat Hate Narratives (Steps to Develop Empowerment Concepts)
4. Training Methodology on Empowerment (ToT Methodology)

The Handbook will be published under a prestigious Publishing House, by the end of 2019. We ensure free participation in this project for any academic or professional with expertise in the field and we will acknowledge your contribution as co-authorship.

We encourage and expect any inquires and contributions by 30 June 2019, at dana@xhouse.ro
