GrowingUp: Sustainable tools for a healthy lifestyle.

KA1: Youth Mobility - Youth Exchanges. 4 partecipants per organization (+1 youth leader, 5 partecipants in total), the project will take place in Castellammare di Stabia (Naples, Italy).

The project "GrowingUp: sustainable tools for a healthy lifestyle" aims is to teach the basics of a healthy lifestyle, making a growing-box with recycled materials. The goal is to offer forms of non-formal, open and flexible socio-educational activites, giving concrete ideas to improve personal initiative, healthy lifestyle and sustainability.

The non-formal socio-educational idea behind the project is building a grow-box with recycled materials and learning how to make it operational, by planting the various types of plants (vegetables, flowers, etc.) and their seeds (seeds, seedlings, flower bulbs, etc.).

The project is aimed at young people interested in having a healthier lifestyle through nutrition and physical activity, through some sustainable tools such as the construction of a grow-box with recycled materials.

In particular we seek association and/or Schools that are able to deal with the following issues:

Healthy lifestyle;
A school of human nutrition or cooking or agriculture;
Sustainability and recycling of materials;
healthy physical activities (with scientific cognition);
networking (with a really large network).

Participants per organization: 4 (from 18 to 25 years) + 1 group leader (25+).

Venue: Castellammare di Stabia, Napoli, Italy
The programme includes: non-formal activities, workshops, visits, practical sessions with youths, self-reflection groups, one-day final event, etc.
