GROW

Looking for a coordinator/applicant for the KA210 Project - GROW (Gardening for Resilience, Optimism and Wellness)

Description
Gardening can have many benefits for mental health, especially for youth. It can provide a sense of accomplishment and pride, as well as a sense of connection to nature. It can also promote mindfulness, as it requires concentration and focus on the present moment. Additionally, it can provide physical exercise, which is beneficial for mental health. The process of planning, planting, and caring for a garden can also serve as a form of therapy, helping youth to process and manage stress and emotions.

Objectives
-To educate youth about mental health and the importance of taking care of their mental well-being.
-To provide youth with the tools and resources to manage stress and improve their mental health through gardening.
-To create a safe and supportive environment for youth to share their thoughts and feelings, and to reduce the stigma around mental health.
-To promote physical activity and provide an opportunity for youth to engage in outdoor activities that can be beneficial to their mental health
-To provide youth with an opportunity to learn new skills, like gardening, and foster a sense of accomplishment and self-esteem.
