“Group activity program for people with fewer opportunities”

Programme summary:

This group mobility programme for adult learners aims to strengthen social, practical, and creative skills while supporting independent living and community inclusion for people with fewer opportunities, particularly adults with intellectual disabilities. The programme is delivered using easy-to-understand language and inclusive methods.

Throughout five days, participants will take part in a variety of structured and open-ended activities designed to build confidence, self-efficacy, and social interaction. The programme includes social skills workshops with a focus on non-verbal communication, creative workshops such as guided fractal drawing, and practical skill development through sewing and hand embroidery. Cultural and literary tours in easy-to-understand language introduce participants to local heritage and inclusive cultural practices, encouraging cultural enrichment and personal engagement.

Participants are also given time for informal exploration, reflection, and peer interaction, supporting autonomy and individual interests. The programme concludes with guided self-reflection, evaluation, and group presentation, reinforcing learning outcomes and strengthening participants’ sense of agency and achievement.
