An ecology-focused project promoting knowledge exchange, environmental awareness, and sustainable action through non-formal learning and volunteering
This project is aimed at fostering the exchange of knowledge and experience in the field of ecology among three organizations working with young people. The main objective of the project is to raise environmental awareness and promote a responsible attitude towards the environment among youth.
The project targets young people aged 14–19. Special attention is given to actively involving teenagers and young participants, encouraging their initiative and engagement in environmental protection and sustainability.
Within the framework of the project, youth development will be supported through non-formal education, international exchange of experience, and learning about how different countries implement ecological practices, promote sustainable development, and encourage environmentally responsible behaviour. An important component of the project will be volunteering activities aimed at providing practical support to the environment and local communities.
The relevance of the project is driven by the increasing environmental challenges and the need to actively involve young people in addressing ecological issues. Young people play a key role in shaping an environmentally responsible future, and this project creates opportunities for learning, knowledge exchange, and transforming awareness into concrete actions.
The project aligns with the priorities of Erasmus+ KA152 YOU, as it contributes to youth development, international cooperation, civic engagement, and environmental responsibility.
