GÖNÜLLÜLÜK POLITIKALARINDA GENÇ VE YENILIKÇI BIR BAKIŞ AÇISI

The project "Young and Innovative Perspective on Volunteering Policies" aims to raise awareness of young people, primarily women, about the phenomenon of volunteering, to encourage their participation in volunteering activities and to enable them to have a say in developing volunteering policies as volunteer individuals. The project is based on the "Interaction-Connection-Empowerment" objective set out in the Youth Strategy 2019-2027. In this direction, training and symposiums on volunteering will be organized, workshops will be held, institutional visits will be planned, volunteering leaders will be trained and volunteering activities will be organized under the control of these leaders by organizing youth exchanges between partners consisting of 5 countries. The volunteering activity will be planned by bringing all partners together. In this way, young people, who have become aware of "volunteering" through trainings and symposiums, will experience being together with young people from different social circles and learn how to strive for the same goal despite differences and how volunteer activities should be carried out. Another important pillar of the project is the political presentation of young people's knowledge and experience. The project aims to enable young people to become active citizens, to raise their awareness about politics at local and international level and to reform policy in favor of youth. These objectives and activities will be concretized on the website to ensure sustainability. The activities and interviews with decision makers will be published as a video series and will be an incentive for future volunteer activities.
