Go Med with EVS

The project aims to create conditions to implement EVS projects in the Euro-Mediterranean area, especially focusing on sharing EVS quality standard guidelines.

The project aims to share good practices in EVS projects and to foster the creation of a network within the countries of the Euro-Mediterranean area. There will be representatives from 13 EU Programme Countries and 13 from Southern Mediterranean Partner Countries.
The project stems from the will to meet EVS accredited (or going to be accredited in 2015) organisations from Southern Mediterranean and EU Programme Countries.
A special focus will be given to the discussion of quality standard guidelines for sending EVS volunteers and to improve communication for follow-up projects.

We are looking for organisations with the following characteristics: • Have EVS accreditation or having started the EVS accreditation process in 2015 (sending, hosting or coordinating); • Have the capacity to choose and prepare EVS volunteers for international projects abroad and/or to host EVS volunteers; • Be interested in improving quality standards of EVS projects, including communication and dissemination of the opportunities and results; • Have the capacity to guide and support the volunteers, monitor and evaluate their learning process for the whole duration of the EVS project; • Be able to work in English; • Be able to have one youth worker from the organisation taking part in the PBA. We kindly ask interested partners to fill in this form online. We will cover 100% of costs for food, accomodation and visa. Travels will be reimbursed according to the Erasmus+ distance calculator. There is no participation fee required.
