Girls code’s mission is to empower young girls to pursue STEAM subjects and sustainability, in order to gain a better understanding of these fields, while also boosting their self evaluation. This is divided into three youth exchanges and a final get together in Leipzig, Germany.

The first youth exchange is on the topic of clothing, waste and sustainability. Our aim is for our youngsters to learn about:

- Examining the production of clothing from a sustainability perspective
- Addressing production conditions, supply chains and resource consumption in the manufacture of clothing
