Gender Factor vol.2

The Project will gather 30 youngsters and youth leaders from participating countries for 8 days of a youth exchange.

The main aim of the project is to promote gender equality, inclusion, equity. In order to achieve this, the exchange program contains many non-formal activities which help participants to increase their sense of empathy. Activities designed to put learners/participants in the center of learning design. The success of the project is achievable only if participants feel the part of the process. The main working methods are; non-formal learning, creative drama, experiential learning and forum theatre. The project gives spaces to youngsters with fewer opportunities from those 4 countries, especially to
youngsters with economical obstacles, social obstacles and cultural differences. Participants will have the chance to improve their previous qualifications in this regard, who will have a chance to review and evaluate the concept of gender, social norms and roles. They will examine the positive and negative aspects of this concept and discuss it with the other participants and try to develop a common understanding. At the same time, they will reach this joint venture in an international environment. Through this youth exchange, participants will have knowledge about both the cultures of other countries involved in the project as well as their own culture.

Partners Profile; Organizations working on gender equality, LGBTI+, women empowerment, youth empowerment. Informal groups are welcomed to apply. We would like to involve 1 informal group to this Project.
