Our EVS volunteers will assist in and coordinate indoor and outdoor activities and non-formal educational programmes for children and youth.
“Gate to European Values” project will take place in the city of Baia Mare and the Metropolitan Area, within AIST and partner premises.
The proposed project has two major themes: Children and European Awareness.
Our EVS volunteers will assist in and coordinate indoor and outdoor activities and non-formal educational programmes for children and youth, such as World Animal Day, Halloween, Winter Festival, Valentine`s Day, Mother’s Day, Spring Fantasia, Earth Day, Easter, Environment Day, Europe’s Day, Save Our Forest!, Kids Day, through games, workshops in arts and crafts, music, drama, language clubs, living library, forum theatre, sports, mountaineering, treasure hunts, thus playing an active part in the life of our organisation and of the community as well. They will design and implement a community project to actively involve children and youth with fewer opportunities, make at least ten public events to promote the core European values through non-formal education and volunteering to the local community, as part of their international project: The Day of Volunteering, The Non-formal Education Day, Youth Day, etc.
