Gadgets Addiction in Teenage

The project aims to improve the youth workers’ competences in order to effectively help the teenagers deal with their gadgets addiction.

One of the teenagers’ serious problems is their addiction to gadgets. The project aims to improve the youth workers’ competences in order to effectively help the teenagers deal with their gadgets addiction.

Objectives:
The participants will be able:
To get a deeper knowledge upon the addiction problem from different points of view
To explore/ improve a strategy of minimizing the addiction
To test this strategy consisting in benefic alternatives to the addiction attitudes/ behaviors

Venue: A picturesque village, Voronet (UNESCO heritage) near Suceava, Bukovina County; an extraordinary beautiful region, which will give you the feeling of perfect body and soul relaxation.
Date: 21 – 27 November 2016
Target group (18+): 10 countries; 3 participants/ country; youth workers, teachers, counselors, psychologists, trainers, other persons who work with teenagers

Programme:
Lectures, seminars and workshops in connection to teenagers’ gadgets addiction
Workshops on benefic alternatives
Intercultural evening
Trips to historical objectives (UNESCO heritage)

The participants’ tasks. 2-3 youth workers from each organization are needed. Apart from the active participation to the course, the participants should commit to serious dissemination and continuation activities: posting the project description on the organization web-page, counselling teenagers etc., according to the application form requirements.
