From students to entrepreneurs- Univation Creativity Hubs Program

Aim of this KA227 project is to urge students of higher-education, especially those in the field of arts and culture, to start up and to become youth workers.

Aim of the project is to urge students of higher-education institutions, especially those in the field culture and art. By providing them with consultancy through the hubs (called Univation Hubs), our incubation program will be locally created by each partner in partnered-higher-education institutions. Goal of the Univation Hub program is to empower students to launch or join startups in their college campus and learn and work together, through acting, in a startup environment. For this round, the program is focused on the youth creativity. Accelerate digital transformation and use of digital means to adapt to the way creative products, cultural goods, and events are created, managed, disseminated, accessed and consumed ; activities to promote active citizenship and social inclusion through arts, especially among young people; activities to nurture talents and foster entrepreneurship (including social entrepreneurship) in cultural and creative domains; These are some of the aspirations and horizons of the certain idea, which are tangent to the aims of the Erasmus+ call on emergency Covid19 actions.
University's local Univation Hub is operated by a local committee, the Board of Directors, for which the partner-organisation is in charge of electing. The board will be in charge of business relations, partnership development, talent management, valuation of applications for startups, talent management and team building, accounting, legal issues and general organisation. After an approval of a start-up application, there is a standard procedure of 14 weeks in which the applicants will be provided with consultancy, guidance, funding and support to launch and explode their startup (providers:univation hubs with the help of the Univation Central Team based in Greece). The whole procedure will be online through platforms and app-making software. An example of an applicant start-upper is the idea of creating an online gallery of personal (or not) creations. All this program will be presented to each institution by partners by means of Tech and The City @ University :An inspiring event for the purposes of a Hub >Tech and the City@University, can be organized by both students outside the organization independently and at local Univation Hub. Tech and the City is an open movement, a series of events based on
inspirational talks, created in the spirit of Univation, by students seeking to “bridge the gap between Universities and Innovation”. Moreover, transnational meetings will not be done, as long as the whole procedure is arranged to be done fully online.
