The aim is to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to support and encourage young people’s active participation in society and democratic life
Trough international mobility, training activities, and exchange of good practices, the project will provide youth workers with practical knowledge, skills, and methods on how to engage young people in decision-making processes, community initiatives, active citizenship, and digital youth work. The project also aims to promote youth participation in representative democracy, foster inclusion, and empower young people to become responsible, active, and digitally engaged members of their communities.
OBJECTIVE:
To improve the competences of youth workers in the fields of active youth participation, civic engagement, democratic involvement, and digital youth work through non-formal education methods.
To equip youth workers with practical tools, digital methods, innovative approaches, and strategies for motivating and involving young people in community life, online participation, and social initiatives.
To increase understanding of the importance of active citizenship, media literacy, digital participation, and youth inclusion at local and European levels.
To encourage the exchange of experiences, good practices, and intercultural learning among youth workers from different countries participating in the Erasmus+ mobility project.
To support youth workers in creating safe, inclusive, participatory, and digital friendly environments where young people feel empowered to express their opinions, take initiative, participate both offline and online, and contribute actively to society.
Target Group:
Youth workers and individuals working with young people (volunteers, youth leaders etc.).
Participants are interested in youth participation, youth policy, and active citizenship in the youth field. Are more than 20 years old.
Have at least an intermediate level of English.
Come from geographically, economically, socially, or culturally disadvantaged backgrounds (priority will be given to these participants).
Have a strong motivation to engage in project activities.
Participants committed to sharing their learning outcomes within their organizations and local communities.
Those willing to organize face-to-face or online dissemination events in their home country after the training.
