Exploring how youth NGOs in Europe can align what they promote on sustainability with what they actually practice in daily organisational life.
We are looking for youth organisations from Norway, the Netherlands and Hungary to join a small-scale European cooperation project (Erasmus+ KA210-YOU) focusing on how environmental sustainability can be reflected in the everyday internal practices of youth NGOs.
Many youth organisations actively promote sustainability through campaigns and advocacy, yet often struggle to apply these values consistently in their own daily routines, meetings, events and office work. This project addresses that gap by working on simple, realistic and transferable internal practices rather than external messaging.
Partner organisations will collaboratively develop and test a small internal practice model consisting of a short internal procedure, a clear process flow and a real-life pilot application within their own organisational context. The project values honest reflection, practical experimentation and shared learning across different European realities.
We particularly welcome organisations that are willing to look critically at their own daily practices, test small internal changes and contribute actively to joint reflection and knowledge exchange. Prior technical expertise is not required; openness, commitment and relevance to youth work are essential.
