FRIENDSHIP BRACELET

FRIENDSHIP BRACELET it’s a long term project that will last 12 months and it’s main purpose is to develop the entrepreneurial skills of young people with fewer financial opportunities and represents the prerequisites for a long-term collaboration in a KA2 Erasmus+ strategic partnership .
In this project may attend any organization which is working with such young people and consists in carrying out social economy activities. The project will be initiated, implemented and carried out by the Youth Revival Association, as a promoter of the project, in collaboration with other partners who wish to enroll in the project. AYR volunteers will made bracelets by gemstone (friendship bracelets) that later will be sold (in the cooperation protocol) by the other partner organizations. The partner organizations will be responsible for reselling these bracelets through its volunteers, in their geographical area. Each organization that wishes to participate in this project must pay a fee of 200 eur and very important, each partner must ensure that he is able to sell through its volunteers at least 1000 bracelets / month. The obtained gains from the sale of these bracelets will be used to cover operating expenses of each partner organizations, to provide sponsorship money for the volunteers involved in the production or the sale of the bracelets to cover their living expenses but also for the preparation of a KA2 Erasmus + strategic partnership, based on the outcome conclusions detached in the 12 months operating program.
The immediate results of the project are the following:
- The volunteers involved in the project will be able to finance themselves upon the received sponsorship, correlated with each young effort, gaining thus their subsistence and their self-esteem;
- Intensifying the activities undertaken within each partner organization, increasing the visibility in the local community, increasing the number of volunteers but also providing the operational expenses;
- Every young involved in the project will develop some entrepreneurial skills, both for young people involved in the production phase and for those involved in the marketing and sale of the bracelets;
- Building a website where project infos will be posted.
Long-term results of this collaboration will consist in establishing a KA2 Erasmus + strategic partnership and to develop a methodology for working with young people with fewer financial opportunities and to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
