Dance is not only art but is a means of overcoming social exclusion and is an instrument of social and cultural liberation.
Dance is a tool for overcoming social exclusion and is a tool for social and cultural liberation. learn through dance the values of social integration, overcoming the obstacles of bullying and ethnic difference. These are not just simple dance lessons, but real social paths that lead to integration. And in a dance-inclusion perspective, the "artistic and cultural" exchange project also falls. Our primary aim is to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease and discrimination place in a child's path. Thus we advance the cause of humanity.
Dance is a basic component of personal and social development. We recommend quality basic dance education for all children with an emphasis on gender equality and eliminating any kind of disparity. No child should be left without the opportunity to learn and practice dance. Access to art constitutes a right for every person and for children in particular. This right should be protected to help them meet their primary needs and achieve their full potential. To dance to restore dignity to women victims of violence. mission: to support those who have suffered rape and sexual assault through the use of dance, seen as a powerful tool to overcome obstacles and regain possession of their bodies. This is what we want to implement in Italy and in the other partner countries. The only form of resilience that allows you to be yourself is dance. Dedicate yourself to women victims of sexual violence trying to offer them a kind of therapy through dance and incorporating it as a means and instrument to regain possession of the bodies. the art of dance as a mobilization tool against rape as a weapon of war and violence against women, as well as to accompany survivors through a dance path as therapy. It is a dance intended for amateurs because the principle on which the entire work is based, is that dance is not a discipline for professionals or aspiring only. The knowledge and control of the body required, make it an activity not only "healthy" but, at times, necessary to restore the balance between mind and body and overcome the limits imposed by the latter, even in cases where it exists a real psychomotor disorder. The level to which I refer, however, is not the professional one, and goes beyond the context of dance schools, to enter that of compulsory school. both for the consolidation of school knowledge by children, and for the integration between children with disabilities, more or less serious, and able-bodied children. Dance offers many ideas for the realization of an interdisciplinary teaching activity, engaging in mathematics through music , to the sciences through anatomy and nutrition, to history through the history of dance and the Italian language, but also to the foreign one, through the terminology used. From a pedagogical point of view, therefore, dance presents itself as a very important tool in support of teaching activities. Furthermore, this art contains a profound social dimension, which allows students to feel part of a group, contributing with their own bodies to the creation of an artistic fact. Since non-verbal communication is the most ancient form of communication possessed by human beings, it allows us to overcome the obstacles imposed by verbal communication, leading to a much more profound and immediate exchange of emotions. These characteristics of dance make it a support tool for school integration, especially where there are recognized pathological cases.
