Franxini Dialogue - Science and politics in dialogue for a democracy fit for the future

Direct exchange with parliamentarians and administrative staff at all federal levels – the intercantonal, cantonal, and municipal – is fundamental. We thereby enable researchers to directly engage with federal processes in Switzerland and ensure knowledge transfer is happening for all levels of governments. Researchers from all disciplines are empowered to contribute their expertise to the political process and to work inter- and transdisciplinarily.

The "Briefing from the Cantonal Council" (focusing on one canton) and the "Briefing from the Region" (across cantons) provide concrete insights into political practice at the levels below the federal level and enable direct contact and knowledge transfer at these levels as well.

The “Fireside Chats” bring together various actors from politics, research, and civil society to jointly develop concrete solutions in a neutral space.
