Fostering Global Enterprenurs
The European Union promotes entrepreneurship as a key competence that boost competitiveness and growth.It has highlighted the importance of advancing a European entrepreneurial culture by fostering the right mind-set and entrepreneurship-related skills in the Europe 2020 strategy. As a result, entrepreneurship education is now being increasingly encouraged accross Europe.
Encouraging entrepreneurship is particularly important to face challenges related to alarmingly high youth unemployment rates in most of the EU Member States. Entrepreneurship and self-employment offer pathways for young people to emerge from unemployment. In this context, special attention is paid to the social entrepreneurship model, which is embedded in the real economy, close to people and to local communities, and primarily aimed at contributing to the general good of society.
In this respect, our organisation whose main concern is to improve youngs’ professional, educational and cross-cultural proficiencies through the national and international activities has a new idea to foster entrepreneurial skills that will help broaden their horizons and find alternative job oppotunities while and after their education.
Our project aims at meeting young people coming from all around Europe and share their different entrepreneurship ideas from their countries each other. So, they are going to be aware of various ideas and they can adapt these ideas to their countries or maket hem happen in different countries. Each group will present their ideas and good examples through videos, ppt documents and magazines or brochures to make it more comprehensible and clear for other participants.
Our projects focus on upskilling youth workers, exploring social entrepreneurship models or on building bridges with professionals in education, local authorities or the business community. By this way, groups from different countries will not only share their ideas about discovering alternative job opportunities but also meet different people and cultures
