First of all volunteers will be involved to the main activities of our organization. They will hold lectures and events for youth and school children, promoting of the European awareness, healthy lifestyle, ecological and social issues. Also, volunteers will be offered to teach languages and assist in orphanages, people with disabilities and poor or homeless people. Volunteer will be encouraged to participate with his own ideas and experiences and during his EVS will have the chance to introduce new activities according to skills and interests. Volunteer will be able to participate in voluntary activities always taking into account factors such as the characteristics, the previous professional training and the personal preferences. Volunteers will work with experienced members of EMFU and will be able to learn from them. Volunteer will have experience in organizational processes. Improvement of personal qualification, easier communication with children and youth, as well as people with disabilities. Volunteer will learn new language, get new social contacts and meet people from other countries, will develop cultural awareness of each other needs in a multi-cultural society. Volunteers will have the independence to their own initiatives. And do activities in accordance with own desires and abilities with the needs of modern Ukrainian society. PROPOSED ACTIVITIES FOR VOLUNTEERS: work in a school with children aged 14-17, organization of informal lessons, discussions about European awareness and values. These classes will be held in English or volunteers native language (in case students learn this language). Preparing for performances, exhibitions, interesting youth events to encourage children to participate in extracurricular activities. Involvement to the project Give a Day for People with Down Syndrome. Helping in organization of clubs and informal lessons for people with Down syndrome and local volunteers. organizing workshop according to the skills of volunteer or national cultural evenings, theatre performances etc.
