For more green Europe

For more green Europe is an international youth exchange project in the city of Lleida, in wich participate a group of young people from Lleida and two more groups of young people from two other European countries. The participants should be interested in the protection of natural environment and should be willing to work together for this purpose during the planned exchange. The participants will live together fro 12 days and during this time they will engage in activities designed to explore and to protect natural environment of Mitjana Natural Park, wich is in Lleida. Also, the participants will attend additional activities, such as sport activities, cultural visits and excursions out of Lleida, that will allow them to get to know each other better and will strengthen ther relations. Also, these activities will make particpants aware of the traditions and habits of differents cultures.
Objectives:
1.- To carry out an international youth exchange within the program Erasmus+, wich promotes mobility, cooperation and mutual understanding between youth in order to achieve common goals and protection of enviroment.
2.- To contribute to mutual awareness between the European Union countries through youth intererelations and by strengthening understanding, promoting tolerance, respect and solidarity.
3.- To promote active citizenship between Youth and especially their European citzenship.
4.- To help to increase the awareness of Spain an Catalonia: their ways of living, customs, languages, traditions and other. Also, to increase the awareness of other participating countries in order to reach the greater intercultural undertanding through non formal learning and by practicing languages of different EU countries.
5.- To create a learning space where young European ctizens would become aware of the improtance to respect and the protect the environment.
Purpose
To facilitate the mobility of European citizens inside the European Union by promoting interrelations, tolerance, social European connections and to make youth aware ot the imoprtance to respect and protect environment.
Contents
The activities wich will be linked to natural environment will take place in Mitjana Natural Park of Lleida. The participants will get familiar with the park area, its flora and fauna and will attend activities related with conservation of the park: cleaning of the paths, analysus of water from the river, elimination of the invading plant of Periploca, construction of wooden fence, creation of nest boxes for autochthonous birds, control of plants and ringing of birds. Also, the activities of recycling that will lead to debates and will allow the exchange of different opinions regarding the natural environment and its protection.
During the free time activities participants will engage in water and outdoor sport activities, will participate in touristic activities in wich they will visit the most emblematic parts of the city, and will attend cultural activities. The partipants of the exchange from Lleida will help to plan the activities of the exchange, will share ther ideas and opinions, an thus will feel like the participants of the exchange froms its start until its evaluation,.
