Food for thought'n'heart

Consolidating knowledge about healthy eating, preventing food waste, selecting foods and combining them in a healthy way.

Through this project, we will contribute to changing the participants' perception of food consumption, strengthening their knowledge about sustainable food, empowering them to come up with their own solutions. While learning all this, they will be able to promote their culture by learning about the gastronomy of other countries.
Objectives:
1.Improving the knowledge of the 30 participants regarding sustainable food during mobility by using
non-formal education;
2.Identifying 6 methods to combat food waste by the 25 participants by using the Design Thinking methodology;
3.Promoting cultural diversity among the 25 participants from 5 different countries by exchanging experiences of the customs and culinary traditions specific to each country.
Each specific objective of the project is linked to the activities described in the mobility calendar. Through this project we will also focus on the inclusion of participants with fewer opportunities, at all stages. In addition, by involving young people from 5 different countries and ethnicities, we will ensure the diversity component that will lead to the creation of an environment conducive to active participation of young people and intercultural dialogue.
