Folk dances: After the COVID Update

Traditional folk dances, compatible with COVID measures or those that can be compatible with minor changes, are included in the study.

Folk dances: After the COVID Update
Each partner scans their traditional folk dances, and those that are compatible with COVID measures are selected. Those that are compatible with COVID measures with minor changes may also be included in the study. Three studies are selected from each country and young people are taught each other by evaluating their cultural heritage with the necessities of the day. The use of musical instruments accompanying the folk dance is also included in the study. The clothes worn during the performance of the folk dance are updated with a design to be made on a t-shirt and trousers and maybe a few accessories. A multilingual handbook is prepared by stating the verbal expressions required for each study in native language. With the activities hosted by a partner in every mobility, the young people are provided with the opportunity to get together, tell about their own culture, and get to know other cultures. As a result, a website consisting of visuals and videos that show, explain and teach the figures with which dress and music each play is performed is prepared.
