This project aims to explore the therapeutic aspects of folk dance, focusing on its benefits for mental well-being, relaxation, and mindfulness.

Aim:
This project aims to explore the therapeutic aspects of folk dance from different cultures, focusing on its benefits for mental well-being, relaxation, and mindfulness. Participants from various European countries will engage in a series of workshops, discussions, and cultural exchanges to learn about and experience the mental health benefits of traditional dances.

Objectives:

- To utilize folk dance as a tool to enhance mental health, reduce stress, and foster a sense of joy and community;
- To encourage understanding and appreciation of diverse European cultural traditions through the medium of dance;
- To teach participants dance techniques and mindfulness practices that can be used for personal mental health management;
- To increase awareness about the importance of mental health and the role of traditional arts in maintaining it;
- To foster a sense of European unity and cooperation among young people through shared cultural experiences.
