Erasmus+ Youth Exchange Summer 2026 (Austria sending group)

The youth centre OJA Mäder, located in Vorarlberg (Austria), is looking for a partner organisation to host an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in summer 2026.
The project will be supported and coordinated by aha - Youth Information Vorarlberg, the official youth information centre of the federal state of Vorarlberg, which holds an Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation.

About the Youth Centre
OJA Mäder works in the field of open youth work and offers young people opportunities for participation, leisure activities and personal development in their local community. For many participants, this would be their first international youth exchange experience.

Participants
The Austrian group will consist of:
• 8–10 young people aged 13-17
• 2 youth workers
The partner organisation would participate with a similar group of young people.

Timeframe
The exchange should take place during the summer holidays in Vorarlberg (July – early September 2026).
Exact dates are negotiable and can be agreed together.

Possible Partner Countries
The youth group is interested in meeting young people from different parts of Europe.
Organisations from programme-countries are welcome to get in contact.

Project Approach
The theme and programme of the youth exchange can be developed together by the partner organisations. Possible elements of the programme could include intercultural exchange, outdoor or creative activities, workshops and other non-formal learning methods.

We are particularly interested in organisations that can host the exchange and support the local programme and activities.

We are particularly interested in organisations that are motivated to develop and implement the project together and actively contribute to the programme and hosting of the exchange.

Funding
The exchange will be funded through the Erasmus+ Youth programme via the accreditation of aha - Youth Information Vorarlberg.

What We Are Looking For
We are looking for organisations that:
• work with young people in youth centres or youth work structures
• are interested in hosting an international youth group
• are open to developing the programme together
• value intercultural learning and youth participation
