Fight with ART against discrimination

The project will use active non-formal educational methods in order to empower young people with a vision of unity and tolerance against all human beings!

Fight with ART against discrimination is the newest project of SCOUT Society where together with 5 partners from YIA programme countries we want to build a “global village” based on art and culture.

Its main focus is to emphasize that by using non-formal methods and especially Art young people can collaborate better and develop long term friendships and relations and contribute to a more unite European Union. Furthermore all young people have different “art” or “artistic” talents than just need a push to turn to surface, like: drawing, photographing, singing and other. Through this project we want to share both traditional crafts of the participant countries (ex. pottery), but also new forms of art like photography. Also the projects activities will involve travelling to know better the Romanian culture and sports activities.

The project will unfold in the town of Targu Jiu, that is located in SV of Romania, and represents one of the bastions of culture and art, as the international sculptor Constantin Brancusi was born here; now the old and new combines in Targu Jiu offering a nice time to both locals and visitors.
