This is our proposal for sharing the best practices of nutrition education.

FICO-YH: Food Information for Conscious Organization – Youth Health

The project aims to share the values of good nutrition defined by Fico (Italian Factory Farming), with the different partner in order to undertake an activity of exchange of different skills necessary for the development and dissemination of good practice of nutrition education for young people (aged between 11-19 years).
The partnership will encompass within different skills: on the one hand there will be partners with high expertise on food issues and focused on nutrition education, on the other hand there will be partners with educational and training experiences aimed at the target population of young people. This synergy of skills, it will define a set of informative-educational training actions, with high innovative elements and high quality content that will allow to compose the good practices of nutrition education.
The divulgative methodology will be processed involving the target group in order to create a highly innovative instrumentation, calibrated on the needs and cognitive skills of young people involved.
The use of ICT will ensure that the good practice developed will also be usable and sharable by the partners for future dissemination even after the end of the current grant.
During the project implementation the partnership will share/develop/improve a new "charter of values of nutrition education" which each partner will subscribe.
The "charter of values" will be the base documentation of best practices which will contain all the fundamental principles and values for a healty lifestyle, a concious and sustainable approach to the daily food consumption.
After this phase each partner will select target gorups of young people from each different territory which will be involved in several teaching activities of "Blended mobility". Target groups will participate to teaching activities which will be both virtual with online materials and web conferences, and traditional training that will have the core with a 5 days visit in Italy for a intensive approach to the main themes of food education. The target group will also be a "testing group" that will give indications about the methodology and accessibilty of contents of the best practices of nutrition education.

It would be useful for the success of the project proposal if we could find another partner organization (NGO, firm etc.) from another EU country.
