Face2Face - Rendez-vous with second generation

"Face2face" is a bilateral exchange project between 10 young people from France and 10 young people from Italy that will meet in Naples for 10 days from 6 to 15 May 2013 on the theme "Young second-generation foreigners." The associations involved, L.E.S.S and EUROCIRCLE, the first based in Naples (Italy) and the second in Marseille (France), working in the field of the protection of human rights, the promotion of intercultural dialogue and the fight against discrimination. This project, going back to the daily activities that the two organizations have in particular for young migrants in the two cities, aims to stimulate the participants' attention to the issue of young second-generation foreigners and the problems they encounter during their integration process in the European territory, promoting, through dialogue, exchange of experiences. Some of the participants are selected from young beneficiaries, refugees and asylum seekers, of accomodation and integration project promoted by the L.E.S.S. The methods used will be informal: the young participants will be engaged in creative activities, such as theater, staging a flash mob, creating a blog, and in intercultural exercises that allow quick thoughts on prejudices and stereotypes stimulating communication and mutual dialogue.
