Exploring Europe's Nature

The project aims to promote increased awareness and appreciation of Europe's Nature as well as increasing understanding of different European Cultures.

This project will take place in Milicz, Lower Silesia, Poland in July 2014. The project aims to promote increased awareness and appreciation of Europe's Nature and the present its current and future challenges as well as increasing appreciation and understanding of different European Cultures.

The project adopts an active approach to learning about nature and uses it as a medium through which young people can develop their skills in communication and teamwork. This will be done through a range of outdoor activities such as working in our community garden, designing and giving workshops on Europe's flora and fauna and bird watching at the internationally significant Milicz Ponds. Young people will also have the opportunity to learn about countries and cultures of Europe, and share their own. This will be done through workshops which consider nature across Europe, and more informally, through participating in the nature-based activities.
