EVS - United in Diversity

approved long term EVS project in Romania. We URGENTLY need 1 ITALIAN, 1 PORTUGUESE and 1 AZERBAIJAN volunteer!!!

“United in Diversity” EVS project will take place in Baia Mare (northern Romania), for 11 months, between 1st of March 2014 and 1st of February 2015.
The project will host 4 volunteers, one from each of the following countries:
Azerbaijan, Georgia, Italy and Portugal.

The main themes of the project are: Roma communities and arts and culture. Volunteers will work with a group of 25 children coming from the roma community in a day center. Through the activities, volunteers will promote active citizenship and volunteering among youth from the local community, as well as the importance of using non-formal education methods for the personal development of the individual. Therefore the 4 volunteers will use various tools and methods in order to promote their project and atract young people in active participation: workshops, role plays, animations, world-caffe, living library, open-space, ice-breakers, street events, etc.
