EVS PROJECT for BOSNIAN VOLUNTEERS FLUX ZONE UNITY-multi media art "EVS" project

Flux is a state of constant flow, change, movement and passage. Young people are in a constant state of learning, growing and acceptance, whit this project we want to create a creative space (with no real boundaries) where the flow of acceptance and unity is available to everyone no matter the race, sex or religious beliefs.
With this future EVS project we want to work on social inclusion in our regional community trough the usage of creative tools, like theater, art, video, gverilla actions and new media art.
This project involves three organizations:
*Youth center of Trbovlje ( as the carrier of the project )
* Cultural institution- Delavski dom Trbovlje- DDT- ( as the hosting organization)
*Theater group Svoboda ( as the hosting organization)

This OPEN CALL is for the EVS possition in the Cultural institution -Delavski dom Trbovlje (DDT).

Cultural institution Delavski dom Trbovlje elaborates a cultural program that covers all generations, from the youngest to the oldest, and all forms of art, from traditional forms of art and amateur cultural activities to modern cultural production. It also provides support to local artists and allows them presentations at the premises of cultural institution Delavski dom Trbovlje. At the same time cultural institution Delavski dom Trbovlje hosts artists, at their own premises, from other parts of Slovenia and abroad in order to inform its audience about worldwide cultural trends and about cultural trends from other parts of Slovenia. Cultural institution Delavski dom Trbovlje is devoting special attention to modern art practices, especially to new media art and its artists.
The instutute gives much importance to new media art and the development of technology in the art world. DDT hosts one of the biggest festivals of new media arts in Slovenia called "Speculum artium"

THE TASKS OF THE VOLUNTEER WOULD BE:
* working on development of new media art in the instutution, helping set up exhibitions
*promotion of events
*paticipate in the planing of the festival "Speculum artioum"
* carrying out a personal project in the field of new media art, video or installation.

WHAT KIND OF A VOLUNTEER ARE WE LOOKING FOR:
A person who is creative and speaks their mind. Has interest for new media art and art in general. Someone who is interested in working on the topic of understanding and tolarance trough the media of art.
