Organizing the 8th edition of the European Youth Week (May 2016)
Place:Targu-Jiu, Gorj, Romania.
Type of project: EVS short term.
Duration: The service should start in the beginning of April 2016. The service will last 2 months until the end of May 2016.
Number of partners&volunteers. Project will involve 5 NGO from Program Countries and each organization have to send 2 volunteers .
Description of the project.
Aim: Organize the 8th edition of the European Youth Week (May 2016)- National Event.
Objectives:
- Promoting active European citizenship and develop the spirit of solidarity and tolerance among young people.
- Promoting Erasmus +, opportunities for mobility and non-formal education.
- Developing skills and competencies of young volunteers assume their responsibilities in organizing events.
- Develop teamwork skills, organizational and managerial skills.
- Encouraging young volunteers to implement their own initiatives, ideas, and develop collaborative spirit between them and youth organizations in their community.
Activities:Activities will focus on topics that will be proposed for the European Youth Week 2016. During the event volunteers will organize activities such as campaigns and information sessions and promotion, creative workshops, outdoor activities on various topics. ETC.
Support: Volunteers will be supported during the entire stage, by mentors, project team and local volunteers of the organization.

- Partnership Identification Form (filled).
