EVS as added value to formal education

The training aims to increase the quality of EVS in formal education institutions, like primary or secondary schools, kindergartens and special kindergartens

We would like to invite EVS organizations representatives to participate in our seminar “EVS as added value to formal education” and a process concerning increasing quality of EVS projects in formal education institutions. This activity will be an element of our EVS project entitled ”Raise the bar with Schuman volunteers” which combines 12 EVS activities in 5 different Polish institutions.
Our seminar aims to increase the quality of EVS in formal education institutions, such as primary or secondary schools, kindergartens and special kindergartens (for children with disabilities).
Prior to the seminar we would like to engage experienced EVS coordinators/tutors/supervisors to help us in monitoring and evaluation of our EVS activities by following the activities of our EVS volunteers and afterwards share opinions and recommendations during the seminar. It would be a starting point for the seminar to talk about quality of different aspects in EVS project cycle.
We invite: formal educational institutions of all kinds (mainstream and special education, public and private non-profit organizations implementing recognized formal educational curriculum) with experience in hosting EVS volunteers, coordinating organizations of EVS projects in such institutions or sending volunteers to schools or kindergartens.
We are going to submit the proposal for February 2nd deadline. If you are interested in participation please contact m.peda@schuman.pl and send us filled Mandate and Partner Identification Form till Monday (January 30th).
