European Young Search and Rescue Team-EUYSART

EUYSART; ensures that young' competencies are developed with training, activities, and exercises to minimize material and moral damage caused by disasters.

The “European Young Search and Rescue Team” (EUYSART) project, includes real and legal persons who want to take part voluntarily in any phase of disaster management; It aims to determine their areas of duty, increase their capacity through training, and monitor their performance within the volunteer system.

EUYSART Volunteers will be trained in the areas needed before, during, and after the disaster (health, nutrition, psychosocial support, shelter, search, and rescue, etc.) and will be enabled to work effectively at every stage of the disaster, thus making the society more resilient to disasters and emergencies.

The goals of the project are as follows; to ensure that volunteers' competencies are developed through training, activities, and exercises to minimize the material and moral damage caused by disasters and emergencies and to make society more resilient to disasters and emergencies by mobilizing the power of EUYSART Volunteers.
